The hotel had clean rooms and a friendly staff, which made our stay enjoyable. the slow service during meals and limited breakfast options were disappointing. It could be a good choice for a short stay, but improvements in dining would elevate the experience.

great reception but needs attention to details
The welcome from the reception staff set a warm tone for my stay. I particularly enjoyed the cleanliness and modern facilities of the room, especially the exceptionally well-finished bathroom.
While the restaurant menu looked enticing, I could not sample it during my visit.

It's just a proper fit for short visits in Newcastle Emlyn with outstanding value. Thought I could have a quiet lunch, but they only had cakes available due to the chef being on holiday. Plan ahead if you want a meal.

The outdoor seating area provided a nice spot to unwind after a long day, offering a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a drink. Convenient parking on-site made arrival hassle-free, avoiding the usual parking chaos that's a common headache when checking in at a hotel.
The room had significant cleanliness issues, including mold in the bathroom and unkempt carpets that felt more like a health hazard than an amenity. I also encountered a frustrating lack of availability for breakfast items. On several days, key menu items were out of stock. The noise from large gatherings, which is something I'd personally like to avoid in a hotel. Lastly, overpriced drinks at the bar were a bit off-putting when it came time to relax.

We had a really disappointing experience with our room. We specifically requested a room we loved from previous stays but ended up in a completely different and outdated space that smelled damp. It felt so far from what we expected for a special celebration. Not what we wanted at all. Definitely a letdown for sure.

Had an awesome group trip with friends. We explored nearby attractions and enjoyed the fantastic buffet breakfast. The staff were super friendly and really made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures.
One downside was the awkward room location. we had trouble settling in initially because the room was outside the main hotel. A heads-up about it would have been beneficial.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed exploring both the local hikes and nearby historic castles. The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were clean and had good amenities. Just a heads up, the breakfast could use some healthier options.
One downside was the carpets in the dining area. they looked quite marked. It didn't ruin our stay, but it's worth mentioning.

A cozy retreat in Newcastle Emlyn
I recently enjoyed my stay in a Classic Double or Twin Room, where the cleanliness and modern decor truly stood out. The breakfast featured an impressive array of traditional Welsh options, which were absolutely delicious, especially the eggs benedict. The atmosphere was warm, and I absolutely loved the friendly staff who were always ready to help. it would be great if they could improve their service speed, as we experienced some delays during meal services.
